The Economic Development Office of the District of Mission were lacking a video to promote the District to future residents and business owners. With boundless recreation, new transportation links to the rest of the Lower Mainland, and a business friendly environment; Mission was ready to show the world that their community was indeed a great place to “Live, Work, and Play.”

This video was produced as a DVD, is featured prominently on the District of Mission website (www.mission.ca), and was produced as a mini-CD to give out through real estate agents. This video continues to pay dividends to the residents and businesses of the District of Mission.

In 2006, The Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre construction was underway. We were approached by the Campaign for Healthcare Excellence to put together a video to help promote their capital campaign to get the latest equipment for the new Cancer Centre. This would allow the residents of Abbotsford to get state of the art cancer care right in their own community. This video was shown to potential donors to give them an idea of what their money was going towards.

We’re proud to say the Campaign reached its goal of $7.5 million dollars raised, and the Cancer Centre in Abbotsford is saving lives in the Fraser Valley today thanks to the generosity of people throughout the Fraser Valley. Working with this remarkable group of people was a truly uplifting experience.

You can visit the campaign website at www.healthcareexcellence.ca

The Christine Morrison Hospice at Mission Memorial Hospital provides end-of-life care for the terminally ill in a caring and comfortable setting. Caring for people and their families during these hard times is such important work. The staff and patients were all incredibly open with us as we worked to tell their important story to people who are considering this excellent facility for themselves and their loved ones.

We shot this production in high-definition, and we’re streaming it in HD for the first time. The stream above is the standard-def version, but you can check out the HD version on the Vimeo site (broadband internet required).
